DESCRIPTION

The ALTEC 401C Loudspeaker is an advanced version of the

superior ALTEC 401В Loudspeaker designed specifically for use

in lov/ level music distribution and paging systems. Its compact

design and shallow depth greatly simplify installation problems.

The excellent high frequency response and wide range makes

the loudspeaker ideally suitable where excellent intelligibility

is required.

The high efficiency of the magnetic structure and wide distribu

tion angle of 90° at 3000 Hz reduce the number of speakers as

well as the amplifier power needed for good coverage. Addi

tional features of the design are the pre-drilled mounting holes

for 70 volt distribution transformers, high power capacity and

unusually wide frequency range. With these many features which

are not found in any other speaker of this type, the 401C Loud

speaker will prove superior in all low level music distribution

systems for quality, economy and reliability.
